Weakness & Limitation

My interpretations of spiritualism are based on the principles of Bhagavad Gita and my life experiences.

Everyone in the universe has got one or the other type of weakness. For example, some of us are unable to run with fast speed whereas some are unable to lift the heavyweight. Some suffer due to rare diseases, and some are unable to memorize what they learned. There are many such examples, however, do we know anyone who has got everything and no weakness? Yet we take that one weakness of ours and make it the central point of our life. For this reason, we always feel sad and dissatisfied with ourself and our situation.

Usually, we may get our weakness by birth or by any co-incidence, however, it is our choice whether we make that weakness as our limitation or not. There are some among us who overcome their weaknesses because of their efforts and hard work. What is the difference between these people and the others? Do we ever think about it? The people who do not surrender to their weaknesses and who keep the heart and confidence to work hard, easily overcome their weaknesses. Meaning that we might get our weakness by the natural means, however, making our weakness as our limitation is strictly our choice.

What do you think about it?

"We only have the right to our work and not to its results. Therefore, it is neither advisable to give up our work nor to expect any results for the same." - Bhagavad Gita
